Kale Harvest

Today I ran out in between raindrops and cut off a leaf or two from each kale plant. Wow is fresh leafy greens good. Here is a picture of the harvest after washing and removing the veins.

Other veggies that we've harvested already include spinach, yellow squash and swiss chard. The watermelon and cantaloupe just sprouted as well. Getting ready for an abundant summer!

This kale's going to be joined by bacon and tomato for a huge salad. Yum, yum!
